Legacy Recordings

In an association that began more than a decade ago, Mike Cimicata has worked on scores of projects for one of the world's preeminent reissue record labels, Sony BMG's Legacy Recordings. In recent years, Mike has written liner notes for releases by Rick Astley, A Flock Of Seagulls and Living Colour and contributed marketing copy on projects ranging from Foo Fighters to Santana.

Over the years, he has supervised the editorial production of Legacy boxed sets by Bob Dylan, Simon & Garfunkel, The Isley Brothers, Charles Mingus, and Johnny Cash. His credits also include editorial management of packaging and marketing tools for artists ranging from Johnnie Ray to The Clash to Earth, Wind & Fire.

As of spring 2009, Mike is writing liner notes for more titles in Legacy's new Playlist series and overseeing product management for a special edition of Legacy's successful The Essential 3.0 compilations.
